2025: What’s In and What’s Out

February 17, 2025

As the new year kicks off, it’s the perfect time to set your goals, focus your energy, and start fresh. At The Glasshouse, we’re embracing what makes our events (and our team) extraordinary while leaving behind the habits and trends that don’t serve us. Here’s our take on what’s “in” and “out” for 2025.

We’re all about working with partners who understand your goals and share your passion for creating something amazing. From our preferred vendors (shoutout to the incredible teams we collaborate with!) to new collaborations, we value transparency and teamwork above all else. We take pride in our relationships and feel honored to host events that return to The Glasshouse year after year. We’re privileged to be a transparent partner to every client.

Cookie-cutter events are a thing of the past. Whether it’s reimagining our venue for a gala or creating a jaw-dropping wedding backdrop, we’re leaning into bold, unique designs that transform spaces and inspire awe.

This is the year of standing out and taking risks!

Meet our furry office mascots—Sushi, Pie, and Poppa. These adorable pups remind us to take a break, stay playful, and bring joy to our workdays. If you spot them around, don’t be shy—they love attention!

We’re focusing on hosting events that align with the causes and organizations close to your heart. Whether it’s a fundraiser, charity gala, or impactful launch, we’re here to bring your vision to life and leave a lasting impact.

It’s an honor to be a small part of such transformative programs, helping to create lasting change in the world.

Hustle culture is out, and self-care is in. This year, we’re making time to pause, recharge, and enjoy a midday break—fueling up with feel-good foods to power through the rest of the day. After all, this is the events industry—there’s always something keeping us busy!

Great ideas don’t happen on an empty stomach.

2025 is the year of saying “no” to settling. Your event should reflect your style and story, and we’re here to make it happen—without compromise.

Our president, Gianluca, is a huge fan of espresso (maybe too much). This year, we’re capping his intake at three a day—for his own good! When he’s not in his office or on the event floor, you can probably find him at the Nespresso machine. Whether it’s cutting back on coffee or finding a better work-life balance, we’re all about moderation.

HERE'S TO A YEAR OF CREATIVITY, COLLABORATION, AND CELEBRATING WHAT MATTERS MOST. LET'S MAKE 2025 ONE TO REMEMBER-TOGETHER.

Ever wonder what it really takes to pull off a flawless gala at one of New York’s most iconic venues? It’s not just candles, champagne, and perfectly styled tablescapes. Behind every perfectly outlined floorplan and dramatic curtain reveal is someone like Robert — our endlessly calm, hyper-organized Venue Producer. We spent an entire day shadowing Robert through a real event at The Glasshouse—48 tables, 500 guests, and zero margin for error. From last-minute event flow changes to midnight breakdowns, here’s what it actually looks like to produce a major event from the ground up. Spoiler alert: it includes over 22,000 steps, 10 miles of pacing, an outfit change, and a relentless eye for detail.
