First Day Feels: What It’s Like to Walk into The Glasshouse

September 11, 2025

At The Glasshouse, first impressions are everything. The skyline views, the scale of the rooms, and the light that pours through floor-to-ceiling windows make the space unforgettable from the moment you walk in.

But it’s not just the architecture that resonates — it’s the way the venue feels, and the people who bring it to life.

For our newest sales team member, Olivia, her first day on the job was also her first time truly experiencing the venue.

We asked her to share those early impressions — from the sensory details that surprised her, to the moments that made her feel like she belonged.

The Moment of Arrival

Olivia admits she came in expecting beauty — and The Glasshouse delivers.

But what surprised her was the scale of the production infrastructure built right into the venue.

That reaction mirrors what many clients feel during their first walkthrough.

Hidden rigging points, programmable lighting, and fully integrated AV allow large-scale events to take shape seamlessly.

The possibilities aren’t added on — they’re built in.

“I was amazed to see all of the production baked into the space already and all of the high-tech capabilities we have to offer. Seeing that the opportunities really are endless for each special event was such a surprise.”

“The effect the pop-up has with the dancing chandeliers really creates such a fun and custom vibe for clients. Seeing the lights come down, change colors, and move around was such a cool experience.”

The Details That Stay With You

Some details don’t translate in photos. For Olivia, it was her first time seeing the chandeliers come to life.

The programmable chandeliers have become one of The Glasshouse’s most recognizable features, instantly shifting the mood of the room.

It’s a detail that makes the venue feel immersive rather than decorative.

Belonging Beyond the Space

Olivia also recalls her first day as engaging. Meeting each member of the team gave her a glimpse of the culture behind the venue.

Her perspective highlights what many clients discover: The Glasshouse is more than its design. It’s the people and collaboration behind the scenes that create the sense of belonging.

“Being a part of such a close-knit team is something that I really enjoy. What excites me the most is the creative and collaborative energy I’ve seen so far in how all of the teams curate an experience.

I’ve always wanted to be a part of work that feels strong and impactful, and that kind of environment is motivating and inspiring for me.”

From Newcomer to Insider

Within her first weeks, Olivia began to understand how clients must feel arriving for the first time.

Looking ahead, she’s excited to see her first full season unfold:

It’s a special feeling to see something you were part of in full form. I’m also excited to build strong client relationships and experience the full cycle of booking an event here.”

“I think that a guest or client coming to The Glasshouse for the first time would feel very supported because of how each and every team brings their expertise to the table.

It takes an army to put on these large-scale events with so much detail. Clients can sense the support and knowledge from The Glasshouse team.”

Olivia’s first weeks at The Glasshouse reflect what so many experience the moment they arrive: a striking sense of scale and possibility, paired with the collaborative energy of the team behind it all.

From the chandeliers that transform a room to the expertise guiding every detail, The Glasshouse is designed to set the stage for extraordinary experiences.
