Inside the Wedding World: Eyal Tessler on Trends, Planning & The Glasshouse

May 8, 2025

Weddings are all about creating unforgettable moments, and having the right planner makes all the difference.

Eyal Tessler, founder of Tessler Events, has a wealth of experience curating dream weddings, including many at The Glasshouse. In this exclusive feature, we explore his journey, wedding trends, and what makes The Glasshouse a premier wedding venue.

EYAL'S FIRST PLANNED WEDDING

The first wedding Eyal planned and produced at The Glasshouse took place in December 2021, just a few months after the venue's opening!

Why did you choose to pursue a career in the world of event planning and weddings?

E

My career actually chose me originally. In Israel where I was born and raised, I started working at a venue and from there I fell in love with events and event planning.

E

Over the years I was able to grow in this industry and work in different aspects of the trade. This vast experience helped me be the great planner I think I am today. From the venue side, catering, staging and décor to the full planning we offer today at Tessler Events.

What do you love about the wedding industry?

E

I love working with people, listening to them and helping them navigate the planning journey. The human aspect, the fact that we are creating dreams and memories for couples and families.

E

I love the innovation, creativity, beauty, and guest experiences we get to create. We are an industry that combines so many other industries into one event: design, fashion, culinary, décor, music, photography, beauty, therapy and more—you name it, we deal with it all.

You have worked on quite a few weddings at The Glasshouse and have seen firsthand how the space can be transformed differently time after time. What has this process been like and how have you executed weddings differently over the past three years in our venue?

E

What I love about the venue is that it is literally a blank canvas. It has the modern design, the views of NYC and the ability to be dressed in so many different ways.

E

The ability to slice and cut the venue into multiple smaller rooms makes it very workable for weddings and large events. When working with clients at the Glasshouse, I am able to use it as is or create a totally new design each time we work there.

E

You can use different styles, different color stories, and different feels.

How would you describe The Glasshouse couple? Is there a specific vibe or vision they typically have that makes the venue the right fit?

E

For me, it is a couple that likes the more modern venue and wedding and a couple that wants to create the wedding based on their dream — not necessarily fit their wedding into an already specific style venue.

What trends are you loving in the wedding world right now?

E

I think couples are looking for more intimate wedding parties, focusing on the guest experience, bespoke and more personalized weddings. Quiet luxury is a trend I see happening.

What advice do you have for 2025 and 2026 couples?

E

There is so much information, inspiration, trends, photos, and items out there on the web—decide who you want to be on your wedding day, what you want your guests to experience, and plan from that element.

E

Not every trend or style works for you and your guests, and you can't have five different weddings in one. Stay true to who you are.

E

If you're envisioning a wedding that’s stylish, seamless, and truly unforgettable, working with Eyal Tessler is an inspired choice. With his wealth of experience, deep creativity, and passion for crafting bespoke celebrations, Eyal brings every couple's vision to life with precision and heart.

E

And if you're seeking a venue as dynamic and versatile as your love story, The Glasshouse offers an unmatched setting with panoramic views and endless possibilities.
